Be the Foundation of Every Event

At ILLUME, an unforgettable event starts long before the first guest arrives. It starts in our warehouse, with the team that meticulously preps, manages, and protects every piece of the vision.

We are looking for a highly organized, hands-on, and reliable individual to own our warehouse operations. As the Warehouse & Inventory Manager, you will be the guardian of our high-end inventory and a key player in design preparation—ensuring every item is show-ready before it leaves our doors. If you take pride in order, enjoy the “maker” process, and want to be a vital part of a creative team, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Inventory Ownership: Pull, inspect, and test equipment for each event. Upon return, you’ll check in all gear, assess for maintenance needs, and return it to its proper home.
  • Design Prep & Artistry: Meticulously steam and clean our draping inventory. You’ll also assist the design team by building and assembling custom décor items, such as faux floral installations and stage backdrops.
  • Load Strategy: Securely pack and stage equipment for transport, ensuring all gear is protected and organized for the onsite execution team.
  • Execute the Vision: Read and interpret event paperwork, floor plans, and design renderings to ensure the exact gear required for a specific design is prepped and ready.
  • Maintain the Space: Keep our warehouse and office spaces clean, safe, and organized. This includes inventory audits, sweeping, and general facility upkeep to ensure a professional environment.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the design and leadership teams to execute their vision and handle high-end inventory with the utmost care, minimizing damage.

What We’re Looking For

  • A “Can-Do” Attitude: You take direction well, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can intelligently multitask when demands compete for your attention.
  • Extreme Detail-Orientation: You notice the small things—a wrinkle in a drape, a loose screw, or a missing cable—and fix them before they leave the warehouse.
  • Tool Savvy: You are comfortable and capable with basic tools (hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure) and warehouse equipment (dollies, ladders, etc.).
  • Safety-Minded: You can safely work at heights up to 16 feet and strictly follow all company safety guidelines.
  • Language: Ability to understand, read, and speak English.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This is a physically active, “boots-on-the-ground” role that requires strength and stamina.

  • You will be on your feet for prolonged periods.
  • You must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 20-50 pounds.
  • Work is primarily in a warehouse environment (which may lack heating or air conditioning).
  • The schedule is variable and requires flexibility; last-minute changes are a normal part of the event industry.
  • The role involves constant interaction, walking, bending, and carrying objects of varying dimensions.

Ready to Run the Shop?

This is a high-motion, “boots-on-the-ground” role that requires physical agility and a proactive mindset. You’ll be constantly on the move—walking, bending, and maneuvering objects of all shapes and sizes to ensure every piece of our vision is perfectly staged.
