Available Opportunities

Become a crucial member of our team as a member of our events crew. Your role will involve maintaining and organizing our inventory of lighting, draping, and decor in our warehouse located in Eighty Four, PA. Additionally, you will travel to various events within the region and make an impact through your setup, work, and teardown skills. Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pull equipment for each event, inspect for quality, and return gear to its proper location in the warehouse when returned.
  • Steam and light cleaning of draping inventory for rental preparation.
  • Create and assemble custom decor items such as faux floral installations.
  • Understand and navigate event paperwork, including rental management software, floor plans, napkin drawings, and renderings.
  • Work efficiently and carefully to minimize damage and breakage to inventory.
  • Work cooperatively with the design team and leadership to execute their vision and our valued clients.
  • Load/unload transportation of all related event equipment.
  • Set up and tear down lighting, draping, and decor for assigned events.
  • Act as event staff for events as assigned.
  • Sweep and remove debris from event venues to ensure the venue is clean and without damage.
  • Follow all safety guidelines according to company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver event equipment safely to venues using company-provided vehicles.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand, read, and speak English.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the design and leadership team.
  • Ability to take direction, multitask, and deal with competing demands.
  • Knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment may include a hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure, dollies, lifts, and ladders.
  • Able to work at heights up to 30′ from ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lifts.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds repeatedly.
  • You must be 18 or older, have a valid Driver’s License, and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Nature of the Work:

The job is typically very physical and demanding, requiring strength and stamina. You must be flexible, as last-minute schedule changes do happen.  

Working Conditions:

Employees in this job may need to stand for prolonged periods. The work will be divided between general warehouse conditions, some of which may lack heating or air conditioning, and outdoor conditions that vary daily. This position requires constant interaction with co-workers and the public. It also involves frequent lifting and a significant amount of walking, bending, and carrying objects of varying weights and dimensions.

Pay Rate & Benefits:

Compensation starts at $18 per hour.
